VPD Surveillance Report, January – March, 2016

Total of 3,380 measles suspected cases reported in first quarter of 2016. Out of these
suspected cases 1,151 blood samples were collected for Laboratory confirmation. 415 (36%)
samples were found positive. Majority (61%) measles confirmed cases reported from Sindh followed by KPK 37% and ICT
33% respectively.
